Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

The MD double eccentric butterfly model consists of a body with a sealing gasket (fixed with a steel ring) that allows a tight sealing of the disc. This design prevents fluid contact with the valve body to avoid corrosion. Double eccentric construction allows operation at very low torques while the wear of the closure is minimal, even when applying the highest performance.

Butterfly valves are typically used to open and close (seal type) or adjust the medium flow in pipes. The valve connection is Flanged, Wafer or Lug type according to ANSI or to other customer requirements.
